Flamengo's Éder Militão beat his former club, Flamengo's teammate, and friend, Éder, in the Brazilian league on Saturday evening.

The match was played at Estádio Maracanã, the home stadium of Flamengo, and was attended by over 70,000 fans.

Militão scored two goals to help his team secure a 2-1 victory over Éder and his side. The first goal came early in the second half when Militão dribbled past several defenders before scoring from close range.

The second goal came later in the game as Militão scored with a powerful shot that deflected off the goalkeeper's hands and into the net.

Éder, who has been linked with a move away from Flamengo this summer, struggled throughout the match and did not score any goals.

Despite the defeat,Campeonato Brasileiro Action Éder remained positive after the match and expressed his disappointment with the result. He said: "I'm disappointed because I gave everything for the team today, but we couldn't get the win."

In response, Flamengo coach, Jorge Jesus, praised Militão's performance and said: "It's always tough playing against your friends, but Éder is one of the best players in the league and he proved it again tonight."

The match also marked the return of Flamengo's other former player, Marcelo, who returned to the team after a long absence due to injury.

Despite the loss, Flamengo will be looking forward to their next match against Botafogo on Sunday night.
